Paula's filmmaking dreams.

High hopes for local author and former post mistress of Chapel Row Post Office - Paula Wynne as she tried to get her short film 'Dare To Fly' made into an inspirational short film.

This headline was referring to me! I also won a 'director's course from the London Film Festival with my bid to make this film. It never got made, but now I've turned this story into a novel.

Update

This story started out in 2003 when I was driving from Chapel Row Post Office in Bucklebury, Berkshire to fetch my son at school. As I drove along a long tree-lined drive, I spotted a vapour trail in the clear blue sky.

At that moment, the characters of Matt and Luke came to me. I wrote their story as a short film called 'Dare To Fly' - but it was only in 2015 that I went back and added to the story.

I then left it alone while I wrote The Torcal Trilogy, and finally came back to the story in 2018 to finish it with a new title of Flying Without Wings.
