While writing The Luna Legacy I used real life maps of how the palace looks today. I also visited the palace in Granada a few times as it is only an hour's drive from my home in Spain.

To give my readers an insight into how the palace looked in medieval times and for them to follow my character's adventures within the palace, I had an illustrator create this map for me. The numbered areas are all the main points of conflict for my character.
