In a former life when I used to run the Chapel Row post office, I spent my time writing and this article is about me as a former postmistress and my film taking flight. I started writing this story, at that time called Dare To Fly, while working in the back of the shop, in the Post Office. I have recently started re-writing this story and it is now called Flying Without Wings.
Update
This story started out in 2003 when I was driving from Chapel Row Post Office in Bucklebury, Berkshire to fetch my son at school. As I drove along a long tree-lined drive I spotted a vapour trail in the clear blue sky.
At that moment, the characters of Matt and Luke came to me. I wrote their story as a short film called 'Dare To Fly' - but it was only in 2015 that I went back and added to the story.
I then left it alone while I wrote The Torcal Trilogy and finally came back to the story in 2018 to finish it with a new title of Flying Without Wings.
