Even worse, nobody can catch him. When he gets over excited, knowing he has been naughty, he races around and around, dodging close by us, tempting us to catch him, but all the while knowing we have no chance of stopping him.
Dexter has always loved slippers, socks and shoes as you can see in his blog, Dexter's Day. So when Grandma came to visit from Ireland, he kept nosing in her luggage and rummaging around for things to steal.
One night we are all sitting around with some of our lovely new friends in Spain and ... BAM ... out charges Dexter trailing Grandma's tights in his jaw.
At it again. Dexter loves all things little and soft and chewy. From a pup, he has gone after shoes. Many a time we had visitors and their shoes would go missing. We had to warn everyone to keep their shoes in the 'safe-house' under the stairs.
Even when we were selling our house and we had potential buyers over to view the house, he would snatch their shoes at the door and charge around the garden making it pretty damn impossible to retrieve the visitors shoes.
When Ken and I arrived in Spain we decided to try a bit of yoga first thing in the morning. Picture the scene: it's a brighy sunny winter morning, we're in our tracksuits. Dexter is not yet out of his PJs (Ken calls him a crossdresser) and we start limbering up. We do a few stretches and then get down on our yoga mats to stretch out down there.
Ken and I recently hired a new member of the iHubbub team - our very own cyber security manager.
Admittedly, we were inspired to take him on after I spent my honeymoon with another lady - simply because he has the same lovely freckles. That really is no way to hire someone, I know, but he has lots of other credentials going for him.
But over the past month we've had more reasons to fire the chap than keep him on as he is never doing his job.
It is truly magical when you trek all the way up to London, have an excellent meeting about your home business and then scoot all the way home again to get this kind of welcome!
If you have followed our story about our little cyber security manager you'll know that he is a big bag of mischief.
